Pay Fines

Jefferson Hills Public Library collects fines for overdue, damaged, and lost items.  All monetary transactions in the library are cash or check only.  Patrons can pay fines by credit card online by logging into My Account.

Patrons who owe more than $10.00 will be prohibited from borrowing materials or using the computers.

Overdue

Items that are overdue accrue fines daily. Overdue Books, CD Books, Playaways, and Magazines will be charged 10 cents a day per item. DVDs, DVD Sets, and WiFi Hotspots will be charged $1.00 per day per item. Patrons are responsible for monitoring their accounts to verify due dates and to avoid overdue fines. Patrons are responsible for paying late fees on items returned after their due dates.

Damaged

Patrons are responsible for the care of library items they are borrowing. If an item incurs damage, please contact Jefferson Hills Public Library so arrangements can be made to assess if a replacement is necessary. Patrons may be required to pay to replace a damaged item.

Lost

Items that are lost or are not returned 30 days after the due date will be billed to your account. Patrons may be required to pay to replace a lost item.
