At Jefferson Hills Public Library, our heart is our community, the people who walk through our doors, discover new stories, join us for programs, share recommendations, learn something new, and make the library part of their everyday lives.
September is Love Your Library Month, and we’re celebrating everything that makes JHPL special: you.
From young readers discovering a first favorite book to longtime patrons who have supported the library for years, every person who visits, participates, volunteers, donates, or simply believes in the library helps shape the community we serve.

There Are So Many Ways to Love Your Library
Love Your Library Month isn’t just about making a donation. It’s about celebrating the library and finding a way to be part of the community.
- Put your knowledge to the test at our Love Your Library Trivia Night on Tuesday, September 29! $50 per team or $10 per individual.
- Pick up a free Love Your Library yard sign and let your neighbors know that you love your local library!
- Show your JHPL pride wherever you go with a Jefferson Hills Public Library tote bag for just $5.
- Take a chance on one of our Love Your Library gift card raffle with a $200+ value! Tickets are 1 for $2, 3 for $5, 7 for $10, or 20 for $20.
- Stop by our Love Your Library photo backdrop and capture a picture celebrating your favorite library.
- Write down why you love our library on our heart shaped sticky notes and place it on our heart window.
