Thanks to generosity of the community, the Friends of the Library are temporarily pausing donations due to maxed out storage. We will begin accepting donations again on October 12, 2024.

The Friends of the Jefferson Hills Library accepts new or gently used books, jewelry, handbags, home decor, DVDs, and fashion accessories for its annual book and boutique sale.

Donations of three or fewer small moving boxes (approximately 16″ x 12″ x 12″) can be accepted during all open hours.  For donations of four or more boxes please contact the library to arrange a drop-off time.  We are unable to accept donations of more than 10 boxes at a time.

Library staff will process donations as they come in and discard any materials that do not meet our guidelines.

  • Loose, frayed or broken bindings
  • Yellow and/or brittle pages
  • Soiled covers and pages
  • Mold or mildew
  • Evidence of insects or rodents, on the items themselves or any boxes they may have been in
