A donation to the Jefferson Hills Public Library is a gift to the community.  With your support, we can ensure everyone has access to tools and resources that encourage literacy and learning at all stages of life. 

Monetary Donations 

The Jefferson Hills Public Library welcomes monetary donations to our general operating fund.  Donations can be made online, in person, or by mail.

Book Memorials 

Place a book in the library in honor or in memory of a friend, family member, colleague, or loved one.   

To purchase a memorial/honor book send a check to:

Please include the following information: 

• Date
• In Memory or Honor of 
• Presented by (name and address) 
• Acknowledgment sent to (name and address) 
• Amount of purchase 
• Selection (if a specific book is requested) 

Book Donations 

The library accepts book donations year-round.  Staff will evaluate all donations and add materials to the library collection as appropriate.  If a donation does not meet the Library’s collection development criteria, the item will be given to the Friends of the Jefferson Hills Public Library.  The Friends of the Jefferson Hills Public Library will sell the item or send the item to the Little Free Library located in AHN Jefferson Hospital. 

The Library will not accept the following items: 

• Magazines, newspapers, and other periodicals 
• Textbooks 
• Encyclopedias 
• Outdated informational books 
• Musty, moldy, or damaged print materials
